While some Dino Crisis fans hoping for a reboot may be disappointed that Capcom is launching a brand-new IP with a similar subject matter instead, Exoprimal seems to have enough original elements to make it a unique and exciting experience.
Each suit offers weapons and abilities needed to fend off the prehistoric creatures as they rain down from dimensional wormholes in the sky. However, Exoprimal stands out against previous titles thanks to its varied assortment of Anthem-like exosuits.
Exoprimal quickly drew comparisons to Dino Crisis, a Capcom-developed survival horror franchise that also pitted players against an onslaught of bloodthirsty dinosaurs.
